TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will be a good addition when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you deposit.
